Bufkin is the librarian of Fabletown and is usually not productive, but Boy Blue, one of his close friends, managed to get him to work properly. He has learned a great amount from reading books in the library, and has apt lockpicking skills. He sometimes breaks into Prince Charming's liqueor cabinet and takes a bottle or two.
